When I’m photographing weddings I like when I feel like I’m a guest not just a “vendor”. For Meghan and Austin it was definitely like that. Meghan is a friend photographer which had a big influence on the LAID BACK FLOW of the day. Their day also had some fun non-traditional elements to it too, for example Meghan didn’t carry a bouquet and wore a greenery anklet instead and there wasn’t really a wedding party except for one sibling for each of them. It was so refreshing to get to photograph them and such a worshipful day! Peyton and Thomas had a destination wedding in the lovely Cashiers, North Carolina at the Chattooga Club. Both are from the Dallas area and we all loved getting away to enjoy the cooler mountain air! There was a chance of rain which didn’t hold us up too much, but during the ceremony a quick little rain came over. Everyone calmly made their way under a covered area where the ceremony continued. It was a sweet, smooth, and memorable wedding moment. Planning Sapphire Events, Hair Irrelephant
Amy Claire and Thompson’s, this couple exudes such grace, kindness and FUN, along with their families. This was a wedding day that I was so excited to get to, but sad to say goodbye to because I loved hanging out with all of them whenever we got meet. Plus this team of vendors was such a fun one of many friends! I hope you enjoy most stunning and centimental details I’ve had the pleasure of photographing. The most idyllic Blue Ridge Mountain setting, a second-to-none collaboration of vendors, and an exceptionally warm and thoughtful couple made for the most beautiful celebration. Mallie and Gifford relished the sacredness of their wedding weekend and
documenting it was a true joy.
Marissa and Mark are one of those couples I wish I could photograph again and again. A good bit of their wedding day was held at one of my favorite Birmingham venues - Swan Lake Stables. To get to celebrate them on their wedding day was such a joy and by the end of it I realized such a privilege as well - they are so loved by so many!
A wedding unlike any other. Festivities were held along the Alabama River on the familyʼs hunting camp and countryside retreat. A small chapel on the property was the setting for the traditional Episcopal ceremony. Beautiful details adorned the celebration.
Caroline and Cooper wedding was a classic Southern style wedding. The service was in a church and the reception was at the beautiful Mountain Brook Country Club. The bridesmaids wore a dress designed by the bride herself! Caroline wore a stunning vintage Balmain gown. I enjoy getting to see these two folks on a regular basis too! The details from this wedding were so stunning and came together beautifully by Ginny Au. Anna, Perry and their families were kind and had a modest and reserved way about them. It set a laid back tone for the whole wedding day, which was quite refreshing!
When Amy first contact me, she was inquiring about florals for their wedding. After hearing her share about how they wanted their wedding day to unfold, I told her I would love to photograph it... haha! Amy and Todd’s wedding was blessing to get to be apart of and I am grateful to them for allowing me to be their photographer.
