This was such a sweet wedding with the sweetest friends. The ceremony was deeply meaningful and the celebration was rich and full. It was a great joy to work alongside the wonderful photographer Megan Murphy, as always. Also can’t forget to mention the amazing gal who made the weekend seemless Jenny from Threefold Events.
Kadie and Ethan
What a fun day this was! I got to be a guest at Kadie and Ethan’s wedding and I hadn’t looked this forward to attending a wedding in a while. It’s always a gift to get to work with friends whether photographing them or creating flowers for them. I just loved how everything came together for this simple and beautiful day! Hope you enjoy these lovely images by the talented Meghan Murphy, cause I sure did. Oh, and if you look through the gallery you will stumble upon my good lookin’ husband who officiated the wedding ceremony!
Crawford and Troy
Wow!!! Is the first words that come to mind when I think of this wedding. The details and design of this wedding came together so much better then I could’ve dreamt up! The reception was held at Iron City, a concert venue (mainly). The space was dark and perfect for concerts, but not so much for a wedding reception. This place was TRANSFORMED!!! Thinking through the floral design pieces for this was such a fun challenge and the end result was so rewarding. Mary Claire and Charlie
So this flower wedding was my first after Millie Sue was born. Thankfully, Mary Claire was so so soooo organized (and I would consider myself an organized person —— maybe a little less since becoming a mom, ha! —— but this gal made me look like I was a crazy mess I tell ya). In other words, she was the perfect first bride to have after maternity leave. Plus she had a fun vision too! Images by Cathrine Taylor
Jennifer and Aaron
It’s a thrill to receive and fun and unique vision from a bride. Jennifer wanted colors inspired by the artistic style of a Wes Anderson film. Augusta Cole and I went to work to pull together bright, fun, yet still romantic colors. I love the way the pieces came together. Photo credit: Meghan Murphy
Lauren and Austin
When it comes to flowers, there is no substitute for a close partnership between the bride and me. Lauren made this easy. She was kind, thoughtful, warm and a joy to work alongside. I was thrilled about every last detail of this wedding.
Caitlin and Cody
A floral design for a wedding is special — a project all its own. This wedding was a tremendous example of a unique approach. Peacock feathers were the inspiration and I could not have been more pleased with the result. Ceremony images by Joanna Ballentine.
April and John
April and John are dear friends and April is my husbands cousin - it’s always fun to design for friends and family. Winter florals bring such an elegance that I just love! April wasn’t too particular about the floral details so pulling this vision and design together was a delight. I love the creamy whites mixed with the winter greens. Lauren and Tyler
Lauren had a beautiful vision for a fall wedding. I love the way all the different tones and shades of purple came together for this event. My favorite pieces were the bouquets. Photo credit (images 1-4) Rachel and Noah Ray
Tori and Michael
Tori and Michael's wedding was simply classic. There were so many floral details apart of this wedding day. The wedding took place at the historic American Village, just outside of Birmingham, Alabama. Photo credit Stacy Richardson
